The epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. is in New York, and is particularly concentrated in the New York City region. As of Sunday evening, 24,576 people had died. However, New York base Trini Soca artiste, Rayzor spoke with IzzSo Media this morning and said while there has been no announcement by the government about incentives for musicians or entertainers, they’ve thus far received stimulus cheques amounting to $1,200US. Rayzor said band members have been meeting online and creating new music but also practising social distancing to avoid contracting the virus.
